How WillowSpace is Different From Other CRMs

 

We haven’t been around as long as some of the big name CRM (customer relationship management) platforms, and we might not be as ‘big’ as them either.


But we wear our small-fish-in-a-big-sea badge proudly. Being a small company allows us to work a lot differently (and efficiently) and today we want to share just how that is beneficial to you.

 

We are a bootstrapped company.

This means we don't answer to investors or have a drive to scale rapidly and unnecessarily. When you work with investors, they often focus on revenue and growing strategies to scale as fast as possible. We’re not interested in chasing any kind of empty promise or revenue dream that sacrifices our values and life balance.

In larger software organizations, it’s often a rat-race to the clunkiest tool. It makes some CRMs feel out-dated, hard to set up and impossible to fully understand.

We’re for designers, by designers.

Our founder, Danielle, uses WillowSpace every day herself in her design studio, Function. WillowSpace was not developed by some money-hungry startup bros looking for the next best thing to make them a quick million... it was created because of a genuine need for a better, more-controlled, design-central CRM.

⭐️ Danielle owns Function, a design studio and after a devastating loss in her life, needed to re-evaluate how she worked with her design clients, and what mattered most in her processes. WillowSpace is meant to help with seamless client processes that can also be beautiful, because why not? As designers, we care tremendously about the way our processes are presented to clients (as we all should).

WillowSpace is simple and we plan to keep it that way. No bulky, clunky features or set-ups.

We focus on providing outstanding client experiences.

Other CRMs focus on helping you manage your business, but they don’t always capture the essence of providing STELLAR experiences for your clients so that they can’t help but rave about you to others. You already have enough to do in your business, so we focus on helping you put your marketing on autopilot.

⭐️ At Function, Danielle quickly realized that the better her clients felt working with her studio, the more they referred her services to others. As someone who used to "hate marketing and sales" she needed to find ways to attract new business without feeling drained by marketing and selling efforts.

Since shifting all of her marketing efforts to providing the best client experience, Function has had its best years ever (and we’re barely on social media - go figure!).
